Konstantin Drallios (he/him)Biography. Konstantin is a chemistry PhD student, who received his ACS Bachelor’s degree from Clark University in 2021. As an undergraduate researcher, Konstantin worked on polymeric electrolyte design for battery applications, and explored metal complexes as low dimensional antiferromagnets, where he discovered his passion for materials development. His desire to expand his repertoire in instrumentation led him to his position at Charles River Laboratories as an HPLC specialist, providing analytics for client drug development such as COVID-19 vaccine loads. Konstantin joined the Osborn Popp Lab in November 2023, with aspirations to gear solid state NMR development towards materials design, such as hydrogen storage and semiconductor material design.

Elias Herman (he/him)
Biography. Elias is a Bioengineering Undergraduate at Oregon State University. He chose this field because he didn’t want to be a plant processing engineer… only. Elias wants to create, to invent, to research. He is interested in what he kind of understands and what he doesn’t understand. He’s a tenured member of the Kaur Entomology Lab, where he performed valuable research on effective control over Willamette valley pests. Elias applies himself to whatever field peaks his interests and he works, no dabbling. As of January 2024, Elias has found a new home in the Osborn Popp Lab, where he seeks to perform research on Lipids and build on his insect past with research on Embiopterans.
